NAV-TV announces video-in-motion kits

NAV-TV’s video solution for the 2009 Lincoln MKS and 2009 Hyundai Genesis platforms provides video in motion capability utilizing the factory navigation entertainment system.

Boca Raton, FL and Detroit, MI, October 7, 2008 – NAV-TV announces the release of the much anticipated Video in Motion (ViM) integration module for the all new Hyundai Genesis and Lincoln MKS automobiles.  This new ViM module allows for the display of the factory entertainment system for the enjoyment of the passengers while the vehicle is in motion.

This plug and play module represents an important step in the evolution of NAV-TV for new product development. The NAV-TV video module allows for video in motion within the factory navigation screen. The module used in the MKS also allows for the manual activation of the factory-installed backup camera for use as a trailer cam.

“NAV-TV is always seeking to add entertainment and convenience to our customer’s automotive experience.  We intend this to be the first in a wide line of new products for Hyundai and other new vehicle platforms (including Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles)” said Moni Melman, chief executive officer of NAV-TV.

The NAV-TV Genesis ViM allows for full integration to Hyundai vehicles with the Media Oriented Systems Transport, or MOST, fiber optic network, and is compatible with the Hyundai Genesis navigation radio.

The NAV-TV MKS ViM allows for full integration to Lincoln vehicles and is compatible with the recently released MKS navigation radio. Both the Genesis ViM and the MKS ViM are designed, engineered, and validated to maintain the look and feel of the factory installed system. The system is designed to be dealer- and or user-upgradeable for future upgrades and product enhancements via USB.
