Gas prices might be high and the market might not be very strong, but that isn’t enough to stand in the way of a car nut and his extremely fast ride. These types of cars have one sole purpose in life: speed. Just ask Mr. Tom duPont, Publisher of duPont REGISTRY, a gallery of fine automobiles. He was asked to sit in the passenger seat of the $1 million dollar Bugatti Veyron, one of the fastest cars in the world, for a demonstration.
“A Bugatti test driver took a $100 bill and plastered it on the dashboard,” recalls Mr.duPont “He told me I could have it if I could grab it once we took off. The car accelerates so fast that you can’t touch [the $100 bill]; you can’t move your hands.”
